The conference will be held Wednesday, March 4 through Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency Alhambra, in Coral Gables. The Hyatt is located in Coral Gables’ shopping and restaurant district (http://coralgables.hyatt.com/en/hotel/home.html)
Submission Deadline: September 30, 2014 for:
- Extended Abstracts
- Competitive (Full) papers
- Workshop Proposals
- Doctoral Paper submissions
NOTE: Only full papers will be considered for Best Paper awards and for potential publication in the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services Special Issue.
ACRA Membership Renewal Notice
Dear ACRA member:
ACRA annual membership dues are due for 2014!
ACRA dues are $75 if paid for the year before January 1st. After January 1st ACRA dues are $100 for the year. As part of this year’s benefits: (1) the ACRA archive will be made available online to all members though cloud technology; (2) we will continue to provide members with electronic access to The International Journal of Retail and Distribution Management and The International Review of Retail, Distribution and Consumer Research; and (3) the ACRA membership directory will now include areas of research and teaching interest of all members. This will facilitate dialogue among our members.
Mission Statement and Organizational Goals
The purpose of the American Collegiate Retailing Association (ACRA) is to foster quality retail education at four-year college and graduate schools. It has important commitments to teaching of retailing, retail research, and administration of academic retail programs.

ACRA is a professional organization which is composed of membership from four-year institutions that have retail programs or retail courses. The membership is made up of faculty from these disciplines: business schools, liberal arts, economics, human ecology, textiles, design and apparel. Membership from diverse groups is encouraged.
